The Fab School, California’s premier metal fabrication and welding school, will serve as presenting sponsor of the Pit Crew Challenge at the 2019 Polaris RZR UTV World Championship. The UTVWC Pit Crew Challenge presented by The Fab School will take place on Friday, April 5 at 4PM as part of the annual UTV Festival, held in the Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino parking lot.
“We’re grateful to The Fab School for stepping up to sponsor this year’s UTV World Championship Pit Crew Challenge,” said UTV World Championship CEO Matt Martelli. “The Fab School Pit Crew Challenge is one of the most exciting parts of the event every year, especially with the addition of Kids Crew Competition last year. We’re looking forward to watching the top pit crews in the sport duke it out to be the best once again this year!”
For the second straight year, the UTVWC Pit Crew Challenge presented by The Fab School will see both professional and youth teams battle it out in head-to-head matchups to determine the fastest pit crews in UTV racing. A staple of desert racing events, a pit crew challenge features eight teams taking part in a single-elimination bracket. Each team changes two tires and refuels its vehicle, and the faster crew advances to the next round until only one is left. The winning pit crews will receive prizes from The Fab School, UTV World Championship, Pro Eagle Jacks and other event sponsors.
The Fab School is a private, post-secondary, vocational school that specializes in the fundamentals of metal fabrication and manufacturing with Digital Design. Their Digital Design & Manufacturing program has further enhanced the learning and employment opportunities for graduates by applying the combinations of computer designed materials into a real-world manufacturing environment.
