All UTV's cvt belt help

i keep breaking my belt and dont know why any advise?

what clutch? what brand of belts? cvt tube filter or none?

get stuck alot? how are you using your rhino?


yamaha OEM belts are the best, then EPI severe duty only.

Look for a bur or serface defect on your Sheave

the thing is completly stock including the belt, found no burrs on the sheave pretty much only take it to glamis and only on sand highway.

only new belts ive broken are aftermarket belts i didnt put through a break in cycle. all belts should go through a break in cycle before wide open running.

Is the driven sheave actually moving. Some kawa's had a problem where the secondary was not opening and causing the belt to cock sideways, may need to run without the cover on and watch. Any burnt rubber smell?

also dont for get to wash it with a mild soap and let it dry .

Are you running a CVT filter?

since you have not answered some of the ??. since your first belt blew, you may have a roller out of place, causing this. take the primary off and inspect and regrease it. install a new yami belt.

thanks gonna use a stock belt had to replace weights does anyone know how much grease to use? casing had grease everywhere could this be a problem?
