This is the first of what will be many UTVUnderground Feature products in our newly created Feature Product forum section. It is with great excitement that we announce the GBC Motorsports Dirt Commander tires as the first product to be featured in this new section.

GBC Motorsports has come on strong over the past couple of years. Introducing innovative & uniquely designed tires for the ATV and UTV markets. GBC Motorsports is a subsidiary of the larger Greenball Corporation so its abilities to develop and bring new products to market are much greater than many of its competitors.

One of the many GBC Motorsports products is the Dirt Commander ATV/UTV tire. The Dirt Commander tire design is dubbed as an all-terrain. Its aggressive tread pattern and siped tread edges mean plenty of traction despite the terrain. The Dirt Commander employs an 8-ply bias design which makes for the most durable puncture resistance, necessary for extreme environments. Whether you are running in the woods on a trail, in the rocks, or in the tumultuous south western deserts, the Dirt Commander will give you the confidence to run hard and always make it to your destination.

Late last year GBC Motorsports graciously provided UTVUnderground.com with a set of Dirt Commander's to use on one of our test units. Due to timing and circumstances we were not able to get the tires mounted in a timely manner so we did the next best thing. We sponsored UTVUnderground Class 3 WORCS racer Kayla Smith who pilots the #95 747Ink Yamaha Rhino. Kayla and her father/crew chief Trevor had raced on many different tire's over the past season, always searching for the perfect wheel/tire combination to give them an edge over the competition. This season (2011) turned out to be a very successful season for the #95, finishing strong contending for the season points championship and challenging for the top podium spot in each and every round. Much of the success was credited toward the Dirt Commander tires, as Trevor mentioned many times that they were the best tires Kayla had ever run on. Its tread design allowed for just the right amount of side bite when pulling out of corners and there durable design made for no flats during all that wheel to wheel competition.

UTVUnderground and GBC Motorsports were proud to have been able to help support the team with this set of tires and we were pleased, but not shocked to see the tires do so well in a race series that is comprised of both short course and desert style terrain.

So if you're looking for a durable, long lasting, and race proven tire for your UTV then make sure you consider the GBC line of tires, and especially the GBC Motorsports Dirt Commander's.

We've been running the 27" dirt commanders on our Teryx for the last two years and have had great luck with them! They've got a nice tread design that wraps around the sidewall to help protect it and a two step style lug pattern to help with traction. We've run them in the woods and desert and have been impressed with the traction.

For the racers they also offer a nice contingency program too!

We have been running 26x12 Dirt Commanders on our race RZR this year and love them! We have had 0 flats. We raced in Cal City and the rock garden there was brutal . We were one of only 2 cars that did not get a flat. We couldn't be happier. I recommend them 100%!
