I never get into political discussions, I choose to avoid them for OBVIOUS reasons (yellow font). But after watching Mitt's speech tonight I am sold. I felt like I saw a glimpse of the America I knew as a kid, one that was dominating and secure. One that was fertile and full of opportunity. It's been a long time since I felt the feeling about our country that I had tonight. Mitt is getting my vote for many reasons. I love that he exerts confidence, experience, and balls. I know all politicians are liars to some degree, but Obama had 4 years to prove his voters right and the rest wrong. He did nothing to impress me. My vote goes to Mitt.

I like Mitt, and really like Ryan, but Id vote for a rock before Obama, he is not a failed president, in fact hes very successful, he is pushing his ideas, of social utopia, statism (the gov tells u what to do and decides how money is distributed) and anti colonism, meaning America stoll its wealth from the world and has to pay it back, when he say redistribute he primarly means to the 3rd world! Which I believe is BS.

I would argue that our success has lifted the rest of the worlds standard of living up. And socialism has FAILED ever time since the begining of time. If he gets re elected things will get much worse!

Biggist election of my Life, Period

Mitt is the obvious choice...........will be nice to have someone in the white house who actually knows how to run a business and balance a checkbook.

Mitt for me too! It sucks that almost all elections have turned into a vote between who we DON'T want more than who we DO want!

I like that Mitt is a regular guy. Yes he is wealthy, but he earned it. Nobody handed him his money. We need a business man who understands politics to run this country. I can guaranty Mitt would not bow to some other foreign leaders like Obama has.

If you have not heard or seen "2016 Obama's America" movie try to go see it. It's in theaters now.

I will vote for Mitt. He may not be exactly the guy I wanted but Obama is a worthless pile. Everybody needs to get more involved at the state and local level if we will ever change the problem with voting for the better of the two evils.

Glad to hear I am not alone in this blue state! I have had enough of Obama's socialist agenda...IF we receive the misfortune of a second term Obama will really pour the coal to his marxist mission. GO MITT!!!:):):)

If any of you guys are old enough to get Social security and Medicare you might be singing a different tune.
I like Republicans too as long as their names are Jan Brewer and Joe Arpio! And don't forget Cook is a Republican!
I also believe in a woman's right to CHOOSE when it comes to HER body!
Hope I don't rub too many people the wrong way, like someone else we all knew, but it is how I feel!
This will be the first time in my life I don't vote because neither candidate is worth voting for!

They both graduated from Harvard, share a centralist foreign policy view, share similar views on comprehensive health care, neither are veterans, both share huge donations from the financial sector (Goldman Sachs), both have one parent born outside the USA, both have been described as aloof and hard the be personable, both are politically middle in their parties...

Joey, agreed. Some people know how to get their point across and you stated everything I was thinking about that speech. I feel very confident he will do a great job as president. Even if his father is a Mexican j/k:rolleyes:
