[FONT=Calibri,Calibri][FONT=Calibri,Calibri]6/07/12 El Cajon, CA [/FONT][/FONT]– Black Rhino drivers continue their quest for podium finishes with Round 3 of the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park this Saturday June 9th. So far this season they have a combined 5 podiums.

The Season started off with a double on the podium in the Feb race with Gary Thompson in the #802 Thompson Roofing SR1 in 1st and 2011 SR1 Champion Bryan Osborn in the #1 Black Rhino in 3rd. In the March race the #202 JR1 Kart of Jaydn Winbury took 3rd at Glen Helen and his brother Dylan 3rd in the #469 JR2 Kart. That same race Gary Thompson finished 3rd in the #802 SR1

In the JR1 class Jaydn Winbury is 4th in Championship points with his brother 7th in the JR2s. In the SR1 Championship Gary Thompson is in 2nd, Bryan Osborn 3rd, Jessie Morgan in the Black Rhino #854 12th and Brandon Blyth driving the Black Rhino #842 14th.

Corona, CA- (June 5, 2012) The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Pro 2 class will do battle for the first time at the newly constructed, state-of-the-art Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park. Catch all the racing coverage on CBS, June 10th at 2:00pm ET. Included in the coverage is a unique “behind the scenes†segment shot from the perspective of the competitors, capturing the top driver’s candid commentary on their controversial rivalries, strategies and mindsets.

The Pro 2 teams arrive at this third stop of the series ready to take on one of the most challenging, state-of-the-art short tracks in the history of four-wheeled off road racing. The Rockstar Energy Drink Southern California Shootout presented by E3 Spark Plugs, pits the top drivers against both their fellow racers and the highly technical track. Obstacles such as the “Matterhornâ€, an enormous tabletop jump that will launch the drivers side-by-side 120 feet through the air and the 100+ mph straightaway are just two of the hazards they will have to negotiate every lap.

The hotly-contested class championship boasts a field of incredibly talented drivers from all over the motorsports world: 7-time Supercross Champ Jeremy McGrath, the Metal Mulisha’s “General†Brian Deegan, Baja Champion Rob MacCachren, “King†Carl Renezeder, X Games Icon Jeremy “Twitch†Stenberg and current class point leader Marty Hart just to name a few.
The entire season of the Pro Lite and Pro 2 classes of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will also be broadcast every Sunday on CBS Sports at 8:00pm ET and re-airing at 11:00pm ET.
