Cisco, This thing looks awesome!! I have one question though, shouldn't the fuel pump be closer to the tank. From my experience they all ways say to mount the electric fuel pumps as close to the tank as possible. Also possibility of vapor locking with the pump being around the heat of the headers and the engine compartment. NOT in anyway telling you how to do it was just wondering. Looks great!!:D

I understand the same thing Cisco. That's why they've moved the pumps into the tanks too. It's much easier for these to push than pull the fuel and it does combat vapor lock. Another safety feature is if one of the connections comes off, it isn't spraying all over those hot headers!!!!

I am going to move back near the gas tanks ;-)
i had a 76 with a single gas tank clear at the back of the bed. the main fuel pump was close to where you had yours and it had another one just behind the cab up by the frame. thats how it was when i got it and it worked fine.
