Heres a little step by step on how to secure the ring bolts in your front diff that are likely to back out and 'vent' the case during racing.

Remove your differential. Clean it, set on the bench, drain out all the oil.

Remove the 3 10mm bolts holding the black plastic electric shifter solenoid in place. Pry black plastic piece off and remove. (pic out of order - sorry but you can see that the black thing is removed)

Remove 5 bolts holding the two halfs of the case together. You can see them here. 12mm bolt.

Once bolts are out, pry two halfs apart.

Remove the center carrier, will be tight in there so get a screwdriver or something to pry it up and then it will lift out.

Flip it over, and youll see the bolts!

I threw a tack on each one, some people loctite. I know they arent going ANYWHERE!

Replace the assembly, making sure it seats all the way. Clean your sealing surfaces, mate the 2 halfs back together, insert 5 bolts and tighten to 17 ft lbs.

Reinstall the black plastic part with its 3 bolts. Tighten to 8 ft lbs. Clean everything up and bolt back into your rhino and fill with fluid! Manual calls for .21 quarts of diff fluid. Fill plug torques to 17 ft lbs, drain plug 7.2 ft lbs.

Thats it!

GREAT STEP-BY-STEP! This takes only a bit of time and is cheap insurance for your $700+ diff. Wish we were aware of this on ours, no noise coming from the front diff at all just happened to notice some fluid in the sand and sure enough it had just broken through!
