Hey Colorado can you ride to the ghost town and park outside and walk the rest of the way inn or you just have to drive there DANIEL. WE MISSED YOU & THE FAMILY THIS WEEKEND.
Yep, he jumped right in my truck and eat my prized watermellon! We had a throw down if he would have got my little buddy Mr Coors lite!
You cant ride anywere close to it, you do have to drive your street legal truck, but well worth going to see.

The Ghost town is well worth the visit
Between that, all the activities in town, the riding, fishing, hiking and camping it's gonna be a great 4th of July On the evening of the 4th we ride to the top of Bald Mountain and watch the fireworks that the town of Mammoth Lakes shoots off over Lake Crowley. They are at a distance but it sure beats dealing with all the traffic on the 395 and plus it's way more fun to take the SXS's to see the show

Missed you guys also I had been working a lot the last 4 months but I just got laid off again so I am going to try and get some riding in now
I am a Maybe right now im tryng to convince allison problem is we had to sell our toyhauler and now we only got a 6x12 cargo trailer and she needs to shower so hopefully I cahnge her mind and we rough it a couple days ill let you know but I am tryng

There are a couple of campgrounds about 10 minutes up the road that have great hot showers for $3 or $4. Kathy uses them every year cause she doesn't like the turning water on and off for agua savings in the RV. So she takes the truck and stands in hot water for 10 or 15 minutes
Plus there will be plenty of RV's in the group that you guys can enjoy the creature comforts in. We will take care of ya, that's what La Familia is all aboutMammoth Lakes July 4th Weekend

Hey Tom,
I'm sure the Nat Geo maps will show the trails of the area. I'm just not sure what the Forest Service trail numbers are. Check out page 2 post #15 and 16, that is a list of the trails in the area around where we camp and the map link is PDF so you can zoom in on it. Also the Ranger station in town has these great color maps for free
