A lot old mining equipment. We even ran in to some people mining for gold on the ride. They appeared unleaded that we had discovered where they were mining. Oops. :)

Check out Mr. Bickel mining. Cool beard!

RV from back in the day.

Inside the Bickel house!

Good advice inside the outhouse -

There was also another sign that read "Let the Sunshine In" but I didn't snap a picture. Boo.

Off to Randsburg! (Many people ride between Dove Springs, Jawbone, Randsburg, Spangler Hills, Ridgecrest and California City...so much riding to be done!)

The area is studded with mines and mining camps. Exploring!

The hearth can still be seen! Colorado Camp.

Cabin at almost 5,000 ft. Walsh Cabin.

Inside Walsh Cabin.

Pretty roomy inside. Two bedrooms with a living area and small kitchen.

Coordinates and altitude of cabin.

Perfect spot to catch the sunset!

Ah. Finally Randsburg! The ride was almost 80 miles round-trip.

Designated OHV parking where they had areas that used to be used to tie up horses. :)

The post office.

Of course we stopped by the saloon!

1895!

Mojave Red? Don't mind if we do.

Cheers!

The next day, we ran in to Dana and family! Actually, he rode out and found us, moved his camp and we all went riding! Bill and Gary joined up in the morning and off we went for Nightmare Gulch Round Deux, exploring the El Paso Mountains and a ride to the brewery that brews Mojave Red! Epic ride!

Pictures of this ride up soon, but to wet your appetite...

They use desert spring water for the beer!

Ooooo...beer tasting, don't mind if I do.

Inside the operation. If you look closely, you can see an old whiskey barrel where they age one of their beers. Mmmm...whiskey infused beer!
