they let him race with no nets?????? what were they thinking, if he would have been seriously injured, it may have changed the whole view on this class, just saying.

promoter or whoever needs to step up into the safety aspect a little more.

we know Lucas does it right, so evryone can feel safer when taking the track
It was the Lucas guys that let him on the track, It was eye opener for sure

It's wasn't the guys at Lucas. We are lucky to have him OK still. This should be a lesson learned. Everyone knows they need safety nets. From the RACER to the PROMOTER to the BUILDER to the SAFETY GUYS. We had one slip past and need to stay on top of these thing. It was a Demo and not a race. But if we ever do a demo or fun race we will be on top of this.

Thanks Kj

Yeah, that guy should have thought twice about going out there without nets. Maybe tighten his belts a few time during the race too... Especially if he was planning on pushing it that hard in the turns. He almost rolled it in the last turn before the finish once too.

Ive got the mesh style nets, and at the last race, my crew kept yelling at me that I forgot to put them up, but I had them up. That style is hard to see if they are there or not, from a distance. Unlike the 1" strap style.

ya cant leave it up to the people racing cause some people will half ass stuff. it should just be mandatory. also a HANS device or a HUTCHINS device or some sort of head an neck restraint should be worn. yall goin alot faster now and the wrecks will have more impact to them. make them use their heads! an dang did u see his head hangin out! he better be happy its still attached!
