Love that Can Am skipped the BNG approach and jumped several years ahead in one fell swoop. They couldn't have picked a better time in my opinion with the recall issue happening. Polaris has sold a bunch of UTV's since the first RZR in 07. They should have more than enough resources to respond to this next level machine assuming they don't already have something waiting in the wings. The Can Am is a win for the consumer either way.I have a feeling Polaris is rolling heads to get everything sorted out and on the right track. I saw plenty of turbos running around in Pismo, so I guess some people are not too concerned. Hopefully, the recalls and the release of this X3 will force Polaris to really concentrate on putting out a quality product.
I guess Can Am is going to try and hit very market segment. Hopefully the next release is the 4 seat version of the X3.
Pretty sure Polaris knew what Can-Am had months prior to their dealer show. These OEMs are very sneaky.Conspiracy Theory.... Polaris figired out what Can Am had in the X3 and decided not to relase the new model year until they developed a car that could compete. Prolly not plausible but what if....
Im sure that is true and I dont really believe the theory.... But im also sure they decided not to release the new model months before thier dealer show. You would know much more than me though..Pretty sure Polaris knew what Can-Am had months prior to their dealer show. These OEMs are very sneaky.
From what we understand they pulled the launch of turbo with the announcement of the stop ride recall which was the morning of the show...Im sure that is true and I dont really believe the theory.... But im also sure they decided not to release the new model months before thier dealer show. You would know much more than me though..
I was looking forward to finally meeting you this weekend Joey. Next year will be even bigger though. Especially on the UTV side. Do you see Crandon ever turning into an invite only UTV race ? . No way do they have room in that schedule for 80ish UTVs to battle. They have atleast 40 now with a late announcement.
CongratsGonna be doing me some X3 love as soon as Tony gets mine in at Mountain Motorsports! I can't freakin wait. I'm like a little kid in a porno shop....
